About Us
Based in Kent, Red Carrot is a popular design studio, founded and led by creative director David Roder.
The Team

David Roder
Creative Director
Before founding Red Carrot in 1998, David spent seventeen years as a senior business development manager for several large corporate companies, including Allied Domecq and Whitbread.
With energy and commitment, he has built Red Carrot into an innovative and well respected firm. He has a passion and talent for effective marketing and his infectious enthusiasm continues to motivate everybody he meets.

Lewis Jenkins
Technical Director
Lewis has been working with web sites for around six years now. In 2001, he was studying music at university and didn't even have a computer. How times change.
These days, he oversees all of our web projects and keeps the servers running. He also supports Chelsea and, ocassionally, still plays the guitar.

Debi Griffin
Accounts Manager
An invaluable member of the Red Carrot team, Debbi looks after all our clients from the initial consultation through to the completion of each project and everything in between. And she's not bad at organising us either! To sum up - every office needs a Debi (but you're not having ours!)

Terry Ayling
Graphic Designer
A successful artist in his own right, Terry consistently turns out superb designs, day after day. He is something of a rare commodity, being not only incredibly reliable and dependable, but also immensly talented. The lucky git.
You can find out more about Terence Ayling at his own site.

Callum McCurrach
Web Designer
While Callum was still at school we were approached by one of his teachers who, convinced that he saw something special in Callum, persuaded us to take him on as a work experience placement. Well, he was bang on the money. Callum was soon offered a full time position and has now cemented his place as an indispensable member of the team.
When he's not here developing web applications for us, he continues to study geeky programming languages such as C++, VB.NET and Java.

Emma Herbert
Finance
After training as an accountant, Emma spent many years working for a number of commercial organisations before taking some time out to spend with her family. She's now back in business and we snapped her up quickly before anybody else did.
Emma is responsible for making sure the numbers add up each month and, more importantly, making sure we all get paid.

Paul Haisell
Young Jedi
Paul came to us through a young person's government-funded training program and showed heaps of potential. So much in fact, that we offered him a full-time paid apprenticeship.
Watch this space - he'll probably be running the country in a couple of years.

Lisbeth Rake
Strict Headmistress
Lisbeth, formerly an English teacher, now retired. She proof reads copy and, with her eagle eyes, corrects our spelling mistakes with a big red pen. A published writer she can also prepare copy and devise original slogans and straplines for you.
